Who does not want healthy, glowing skin? While daily cleansing and moisturizing maintains the skin, the beauty secret to glowing skin is exfoliation. Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells from the surface and thus make tired, scarred or old skin appear fresh, soft and rejuvenated.

Most of us who follow a good skin care routine remember to exfoliate our faces. But why not our body? You can exfoliate your face AND body. The body needs to exfoliate as much as your face, otherwise, you can end up with clogged pores, which block moisture from getting into the deeper layers, and thus leads to acne, blemishes and hard and unattractive skin.

To summarize, here are a few benefits of using a scrub.

  • Enjoy smoother, clearer skin.

  • Reduce the chances of breakouts and the appearance of dark/age spots.

  • Minimize the appearance of large pores.

  • Reduce stress. (as the rubbing action boosts circulation and helps drain your lymph nodes, by increasing blood flow to the skin’s surface)

  • Help prevent ingrown hair and smooth razor bumps.

  • And most importantly make your skincare products perform better.

We suggest, while buying a scrub,

  • Make sure to look for one with fine granules. Large granules can scrape your skin and do more damage.

  • Be gentle with the scrub—a light touch is all you need to slough off the dead skin cells. Any more than that and you’re likely to irritate your skin.

  • And remember, never use a scrub on a compromised skin (rash, sunburn, or other skin condition) as it could further irritate your skin.

To help you further, we suggest using our own

  • Rosa Himalaya body scrub- A blend of natural exfoliates- Himalayan pink salt crystals and fine powder raw organic sugar with Cacao Butter as well as Coconut oil, added to soften your skin while exfoliation takes place without scratching. We bet you will love the fragrances of rose, patchouli and geranium essential oils added to the same.

  • And our most appreciated Rose and Vanilla face scrub- The most gentle scrub which doubles up as a mask. While oatmeal tightens, and soothes the inflamed skin, red clay and rice powder offer coarseness and help remove the dead skin cells. Sesame and almonds nurture and heal the skin with their precious oils. To top it all, it has the sweet aroma of rose coupled with sensuous vanilla!

It's a perfect composition that gives luster to the skin without being harsh or dry.

So, next time you feel that you are using the best skin care products and still not getting the results, try exfoliation.
